We begin our tour in Akihabara – Tokyo’s Otaku/Geek District. Seeking out manga, anime, gaming, maid cafes, and more.
Harajuku & Asakusa
Next we’ll explore Harajuku and stroll down Takeshita-dori, a paradise for fashion lovers and trendsetters.. Then on to Asakusa’s Senso-ji temple and its famous Nakamise-dori market.
Ikebukuro
We’ll roam through Ikebukuro, famous for cosplay culture, visiting Otome Road to discover its female centric hobbies.
Speak to the locals!
Meet and engage with English speaking Japanese people at a language exchange bar.
Unique Places
Spend a night at the manga art hotel – a capsule hotel with 7000 volumes of manga.
A Special Meal Everyday
Try out an otaku meal which we have planned out for everyday of the tour.From ramen to okonomiyaki, omuraisu and more!
Yokohama
On our last day in Tokyo we take in the sights of Yokohama and visit the ramen Museum.

We visit the Pokemon center and get a unique snack.

Yuru at a Stylish Camp
We might: Camp out at the foot of Mount Fuji, and have a barbeque. Visit a Japanese island and spend a day by the beach.
Onsen
Unwind with a stay at an Onsen Ryokan (hot spring resort), where we experience a multi-course Kaiseki Ryori meal after a dip in the mineral waters.
Ski Lodge & Fireside Food
Take a trip to a famous ski lodge or the Hokkaido Ice festival. Depending on the venue, we’d eat traditional Japanese stews (Onabe), or some irori, fireside, style cuisine.
2 Days in Osaka
Japan’s Cyberpunk City
We travel via bullet train to Osaka where we take a night-tour of the castle grounds.
Osaka Japan’s Food Capital
Osaka has a reputation for fun and tasty foods. Dinner will be at a delicious “Yaki-niku” restaurant.
Amerika Mura
Japan’s Retro Culture Mecca
The next morning we stop at eclectic Amerika Mura and spend the afternoon in Dotonbori for vibrant Osakan street food.

This Osakan weird sign street is a highlight not to be missed! And to cap off our evening we’ll partake in some delicious okonomiyaki – a famous Osakan dish.
2 Days in Kyoto
Kinkakuji and Kiyomizudera
Finally arriving in beautiful Kyoto we replicate a Japanese school tour as shown in many anime. Exploring Kyoto’s temples and shrines such as Kinkakuji and Kiyomizudera will take us through Kyoto’s Old Town.
Wagashi Japanese Sweets!
At lunch, we’ll sit down at a tea house for traditional Japanese sweets – wagashi. Then we’ll visit Kyoto’s world heritage sites making opportunities for you to replicate famous photos from many anime.
Toei Kyoto Studio Park
Experience life dressed as a ninja or samurai at Toei Kyoto Studio Park. Then we ascend through the ten thousand torii arches of Fushimi Inari temple.
Kyoto International Manga Museum
We’ll dive into the history of Japanese comics at the Kyoto International Manga Museum. Finally we’ll end our trip with a classic Otaku meal – Gyudon.
